Dupa ce marul a fost spalat se scoate cotorul. Se umple spatiul ramas cu amestecul de mar, nuca, stafide si scortisoara. Se coace aproximativ 30 de minute (180 grade C).
Desertul este suficient de dulce nu este necesar sa se adauge zahar.
